I, too, understand it that way, it's just a number...but I think the number annually would be much larger, especially when we have "mega" cap companies kicking the tires...
Don't get me wrong, I'd take $50/sh., somewhat grudgingly, since I could quit my job and spend more time with my kids. Nevertheless, that's only a $10B takeover, and the potential here is far greater than that.
This company could spew cash to shareholders for years.
I think it's just a matter of an undeniable offer being put on the table by a very wealthy acquirer, and then shareholders will cave.
