he's well within the regulatory social-media rules, he even posted an SEC link so as to educate people.
you are right, in that it's very atypical for an official to participate in a forum they don't themselves control. facebook, twitter, etc. are all company-controlled venues.
that he is making the effort at all demonstrates how wonderfully progressive Chris is. attaboy!!!
that everyone doesn't realize how amazingly grateful they should be for his participation?
simply boggles my mind.

(tangent -- beware. I don't ban lightly, but I promise the next poster who flippantly disses Chris with some petty boolshite WILL get axed. don't push your luck trying my patience. I and the other mods here have much better things to do than babysit a kindergarten zoo of whiny nellies. grow a pair and suck it up fer cryin out loud. this isn't Nortel. sheesh.)
PS - it's really dreadful that some need their hands held and/or talked down off the ledge every day there's red. if you can't take the games that produce short-term gut-wrenching volatility, turn the forum off for a day or two. don't bet the grocery money at the casino. go see your doctor and determine if you're manic/depressive. if that doesn't work, reconsider your investment risk profile -- clearly, venture stocks may not be for everyone.
