From 4 years average holding time 30 years ago to 22 seconds today.

And the powers that be wonder why the average retail investor has lost his confidence in investing in the market? Seems like they have lost all control and the whole thing is run by the ruthless greedy mega bucks people. One day this may all come crashing down not that it hasn't almost happened already.
