The biggest irony with POET has always been that nobody wanted it because the SP was too cheap! Most people like to buy low, but the pitiful share price was became an integral part of the would-be investor's incredulity. In a hilarious turn of events we now have a stock which has earned prestige because it is priced much higher. You know what they say: buy high, sell higher!
Of course, as others have noted, POET was not a suitable investment for institutions below a certain threshold SP. But anyone who has been following this story for as long as most of us have remember that the prime reason given by retail investors to doubt the company's claims has been the SP being impossibly low.
As of today, everyone who has been in since Pellegrino has every share in the green!
