With all due respect Aves99. The reason why a slow steady rise in sp is preferred is simply stability. If a majority of shares are held and not traded, but purchased at a low price, their exit points are anywhere along the scale. I realize I am being very simplistic here but bear with me. If shares are churned as the stock climbs, the pro-traders and computers (thanks oogee) look to get their 5,10,20,30,40,50%, then get out. They wait for the stock to dip again then repeat. If there is a massive rise in the price very quickly the potential for a massive unloading of shares is very likely. This will of course cause huge fluctuations that will ultimately burn the little guy who sees the price falling and jumps ship, only to see the ship sailing away with the price rising again. There are many reasons for sp fluctuations and I am no authority on the subject but this is my understanding based on seasoned traders I've talked to over the years. Ideally we want higher volumes with modest increases in sp. That creates stability at that value. As the price increases the traders require higher highs before they dump. I share others concerns about a lowball offer. I want to see the sp higher as well but steady reasonable increases creates stability. Of course a whopper of a news release can establish new floors but there would still be tones of shares out there that are 4,10, 20x their purchased value and "why not sell" gets mentioned. That is a hell of a return. Bring on the (good) news and the price will continue its ascent. The risk drops with every NR. So the price increases. But we need revenues to base big numbers on. PDA, milestones, etc will cause hearts to flutter, but I believe the first order with $'s attached to it will send this skyward. GLTUA. Smiles everyone. Smiles. Derekwpg
