As a result of my brother's (he writes to this forum) and my awareness of PTK, we have persuaded substantial numbers of our respective families, friends and acquaintences to purchase shares. They have been encouraged to joint this forum for help in making any investment decision. All do so with advice not to buy shares unless they can afford to lose the entire investment. It has become apparent to us, from such sources, that doubts about PTK occurs when when entries on this forum raise concerns about the viability of the technology to breakthrough or that a premature buyout may occur that undervalues the company.

My aim in writing was to reassure that if an individual writes an apparently negative entry, it is essential to evaluate the knowledge base of the writer. Many who invest do not know anything about technology though understand, in general terms, that microchips are critical to all manner of technological products and understand that this company may hold an answer to an impending impasse in the development of Silicon technology.

Some know little of investing in shares as well and worry when they see entries expressing doubts. Thus, I write to try and explain what the company is trying to achieve and that IMO things seem on course. My doubters are the people I have advised to buy. I am aware that others, such as Joel, have written negative commentaries on the technology but feel that while he has experience of journalism, I am uncertain he has real knowledge of technolgy because he omits critical matters when it comes making a judgement of POET's strengths.

It is also very important that any doubts are expressed, to all of us, so we can make judgements too. I have tried not be insulting because no greater mistake can be made than ignoring a serious comment that is later highly relevant. This forum has been excellent at identifying issues and has, in the main, been courteous and friendly.
