I am not sure why Joel is of any significance to anyone here. He and his opinions hold no sway on the direction of the company or technology. He has his opinions based on his indoctrination. I understand his refusal to listen to a group of people who prostolitize a new, unheard of technology. It's like those kooks suggesting the earth is round, that man can fly and that pockets are just a fad. (Tongue in cheek) We believe in the technology because we are willing to read what is available. It has taken me quite a while to acquire the limited knowledge I have. I am no techie. If I was a phd student or graduate who was told "this is the way it is" and did not dig deep into information that one must have impetus to read, perhaps I too would resist the possibility that Dr. Taylor may just have something here that can alter the technological landscape. I fail to understand Joel's insistence on 40nm or below when this tech offers monolithic integration of multiple chips as well as many times the current speeds available. I have not read any material on what the actual size of a 100nm chip will be. As was alluded to before, if one can eliminate multiple chips and integrate them on one planar module that actually ends up shrinking the total size of what is used today, cost less, use less power, there is a net reduction of size, manufacturing and usage cost and a many fold increase in performance. Joel misses this point. One could say he is suffering from a rectal cranial inversion. That said, I am unable to treat that condition. I wish him well. Now, back to business. I had a dog named Sasha and another Caesar when I was a child. Lasa-apsa/poodle cross and poodle mutt. Won't change my avatar to them but just thought I'd share. Eager on impeding news. The next two months will be very interesting indeed. Goodnight all. D
