100nm is the size of the node that will go on a chip dictating how many you can fit on a chip. They have stated that 100nm will be 50x faster then 20nm. So based on that .. at 100nm the number of nodes on a chip will be 50x faster then the number of nodes on a chip using silicon at 20nm on the same sized chip. So why would there be issues with Cell phones or anything. The chip is still going to be the same size.
