Getting electrocuted to death is not fun, it's not what we want the consumer experience of an Apple product to include.

So, even though it wasn't our fault, even though it only happened to people who bought cheap Chinese knock-offs, we were determined to eliminate the problem.

~pause~

We're discontinuing wall charger.

We won't be shipping any charger adapters with the new iPhone.

In fact, we've decided not to ship wall chargers with any of our products anymore.

And Jony, well, he came to me one day after we started working on this internally, and he went so far as to say that power bricks ... they're really a bothersome constraint to his design efforts.

So we won't ship them with any of our products anymore either.

Yup, we're discontinuing power bricks too.

No Mac, no iPhone, no iPad, no iPod, no iWatch, no Apple product will ever again ship with these legacy accessories.
