This UCONN agreement is a real fly in the ointment and needs to be rectified asap. I'm certain they are well aware of the implications and thus the increased noise about it in the NR's.
I think the PP was forced upon them as they lost control of the share price and had to act to get it out the door at .65. It does seem odd though that they left it until Jan.30 when the MS announcements were/are so close. They have in the past announced financing and then a MS on the same day (I tried looking back but couldn't find that info readily) so my guess is they were going to do the same this time but the rising share price forced their hand.
I don't think the management contracts, or bonus money is associated with the PP as it was not earmarked that way in the NR's.
