What I consider a decent return is not the issue here Mrs. Shepherd.

I am not like "most people".

I too believe the Dr. Taylor should be highly rewarded, and intend to attend his Nobel Prize ceremony. I'm sure he couldn't care less about the money, as most great men feel. Who "deserves" what is the real question.

Which leads us to these other men, the ones who profitted to the tune of a million dollars an in instant, essentially on the backs of we, the shareholders.

These are not great men, but merely men of money. POET, apparently needs money, although we were certainly led to believe they they did/would not. They did not approach us, the shareholders, owners of this company. They did not proceed in an open, unfettered fashion.

Completing the circle, the great men (Dr. Taylor and his team) get what they want (more money to complete their research), the not great men (the men of money) get what they want (more money), and we the shareholders, essentially owners of this company, get diminished returns (less money).

Do you see where I'm going with this?

The owners of the company take it on the chin.

For me it's not all about the money; I would like to see this technology take the human race through my childrens' lives with ever increasing capabilities. I believe Dr. Taylor and his team are going to deliver the goods. I salute him for his brillance and determination.

My issue is I don't like being lied to (ask my children).

I feel I have been lied to.
