Message: Just a few questions....and some guesses

Why on earth would the company consider an update to the valuation? Why even bother if they already have one, despite the one they have being antiquated? Why pay out money that is in relatively short supply to update the valuation? Why do it now when milestones are expected shortly? Why not tell potential PDA's or licensees to look at the initial valuation? Nevermind doing it, but why would you tell everyone you are doing it? Why would you tell everyone you are willing to wait 3 or 4 months for the new valuation?

Because....

.....its been asked for by a company that has signed a MOU and will be the basis for a final agreement

.....its been asked for by those considering an offer

.....its will be the basis or starting point for more detailed negotiations

.....its part of the strawman approach on the way to finalizing a deal

.....it will increase stakeholder value by adding to the value of the IP

.....it will help prevent low-ball offers from specific market segments

.....it will increase market awareness

.....it adds credibility to the technology

.....it illustrates the confidence management has

.....it will cover off some new and varied uses of the technology

Other guesses???
