Hi Terafly,

I can't speak for anyone else, but my own reluctance to answer is that I suspect the milestone chart is becoming irrelevant. Like anyone else, I'd like to know what the technical milestones are and what the incremental achievements add to POET.

But based on the most recent "key updates" NR, we have many reasons why it is impractical to give moment-to-moment updates. Potential PDA partners, and/or BAE's own milestone chart (whatever that might look like) has made it nearly impossible for the SSC to document the changes. For all we know there are other milestones underway by the request of the SSC on behalf of potential partners that haven't even been shared at all.

Having said that, the last word from management is that the fully integrated optoelectronic chip will be finished as per the CP, and this requires MS9.

It appears to me that MS3 was the last key development as a prerequisite for MS9 because it provides continuous wave operation for the POET laser. With MS9 the laser beam can be modulated to transmit information.

With PET now at the fore, I'm not sure MS9 will be a priority (maybe set aside like MS5?) until the PDA partners sign on.
