Your Steven Jobs quote about secrecy made my day! I don't like it, but it will probably pay out. Here it is once again, though slightly modified:
- The veil of secrecy is one of POET's strongest assets.
When people are questioning here what Atomic does resp. whether they do anything at all – e.g. when reading articles about the end of Moore's law but without mentioning POET –, I tend to believe that the reason is not Atomic's resp. Grayling's incapability, but all this is on purpose.
Considering the disruptive technology we have and considering what is at stake, I believe POET and Atomic have carefully pondered all the options and have worked out this strategy of secrecy in order to maximize the gains. They are pulling the strings and preparing the stage behind the scenes. Perhaps they will come out publicly with a Big Bang, e.g. at the Global Semiconductor Forum in March in Singapore. Well, at least these are just my speculative 2 ¢.
