POET has mentioned HP off and on in the past in their CP.
From p.13 of the most recent CP:
"• In November 2011, Hewlett Packard announced that it is working with numerous chip manufacturers to create ultra-efficient, low-energy servers aimed at companies running large-
scale remote computing operations such as Twitter and Facebook"
From p.8 of the 2011 CP:
"Hewlett Packard Co. unveiled plans to develop extremely low-energy servers… HP
said the effort, dubbed „Project Moonshot‟, aimed to find an alternative to the massive
computing infrastructure needed to support the Web and billions of mobile devices"
I've been thinking that there could be some collaboration based on that, but it's hard to say for sure.
Here's a newish site explaining project moonshot.

It doesn't sound like POET at all, but the idea of allowing third parties to work with their systems sounds like they might be amenable to a PDA agreement.
