Solesius:
"So you mean that they aren't in the driving seat and let other companies dictate what they can and cannot do. The technology is supposed to be revolutionary...companies should be begging to be let in?"
You mean POET? A company with no revenue and a technology still in development? No, Solesius, they are not in the driver's seat.
Considering the fact the POET would only be a part of any product in the pipeline (albeit, probably the most important part) it really is up to the third party to decide how to proceed.
It seems you don't understand the position we are in right now. POET is in the process of establishing "big brother" relationships to further develop the technology, but also to protect it. It seems to me the company (think of all those recent additions to the SSC and management teams) has a better perspective that you do. POET knows what it has and what's needed to ensure we get proper value for the tech.
I think we just had a very recent release of information stating that everything being developed at the third party is proceeding without technical issues. Given these statements, I don't know why some are now making the assumption that failures have occurred. I agree that the 3rd party is late, but they haven't given up as far as we know. It just means we are waiting longer than we expected. And I say that tongue in cheek because by now we shouldn't be surprised when milestones are delayed.
Solesius, with your negative outlook towards management I don't know why you stick around. It seems like you would be happier holding stock in another company.
