I have done some more research on gallium suppliers.

According to this report, there are large players in Japan.

GEO is stated to be the world's largest producer of refined gallium.

Sumitomo Chemicals and Dowa in Japan are mentioned along with a couple of China producers. No mention of 5N Plus.

I don't know if that means 5N is not the world's biggest supplier.

Dowa on their website claims to be the #1 worldwide supplier.
