While getting larger seems to be infinite, getting smaller is limited by zero. And that is the fact and dilemma facing silicon. smaller and smaller is causing all kinds of problems and is limited. If GaAs can perform at 100nm as good as or better then Si at 10 or 15 nm. then GaAs has a lot of room to work with before getting down to 10 nm. ..Need I say more? Except maybe optical quantum physics where I get my $70 LOL
