Day after Day

Day after day I wake up and check for news and shake my head when I see that despite extreme shareholder frustration and a dwindling SP value, this company is not willing to do something about it. Even with potential negotations in progress, something can always be said to update shareholders. Either they are totally ignorant to the fact that they are slowly ruining their reputation and credibility or they have something really BIG in store for us.
The only problem now is that because they have allowed this to go on, anything less than a deal will be a major disappointment to shareholders. This is totally self-inflicted on their part and proper management of shareholder expectations might have allowed for a sustained SP at prices we were used to 6 months ago.
People talk about calendar dates subject to change. To me calendar dates are months. We aren't talking about months here, we are talking quarters. Q3 gave them from July-Sept to announce something. Of course few have grown to expect anything in the early part of the quarter. In the last month of the quarter they did not change the dates. What happened in those few weeks? They set the expectation at that point when they did not change the quarter for MS5/7. When you do that so late in a quarter, you are expected to deliver, and if you don't, you better have something to say to shareholders.
My concern is in such a short time they have caused a lot of damage and dramatically raised expectations on what MUST come next. Now we have loyal shareholders upset and willing to sell, and a lot of uncertainty and panic caused by Sheldon selling which has dug yet an even deeper hole from the one started back in 2011. I'm quite disappointed by the management team, and really am only hanging on because the technology from everything we know cannot be ignored as its potential is still earth-shattering.
