Yep. And we had one such poster bragging about how many posts he had removed for being baselessly optimistic. We have been removing all posts that violate the rules including the pumping ones. As long as they have been reported violations, they have been processed (aside from a few very old ones that I haven't yet had time to process).

Nobody has been banned since zincfinger and baggie, and frankly it was their SH legacy that contributed mostly to that decision.

Yes negative posts have been removed, but generally it's because there were ad hominem attacks mixed in. Maybe if people could state their points without attacking the person they are disagreeing with the main point would not be removed.

Don't ignore the fact that pumping posts and ad hominem attacks from the optimistic have also been removed.

The way I see it is if people get sick of seing their content removed they might start treating eachother with respect and offer support for their claims. Who knows? Maybe we will even learn to state our claims with some conservatism, or at least admit when our feelings are to an extreme.
