There was discussion here recently after POET made a statement about Intel's claims that Moore's Law is not dead. One of the points made was that this means Intel doesn't care about POET and can dismiss them outright. Or that Intel won't participate in any potential PDA.

Here we have two bitter rivals with patent wars ongoing, but still cooperating on chip design for their flagship products. Goes to show that what is spoken publically may not represent what is happening behind the scenes. A reason to rethink the opinion that Intel may not care what POET is doing.
