It looks like without having to get to technical and complicated with holes and stuff it all comes down to this statement

My thought, it seems like the speed of electrons slow down with to much heat ,inversely proportional at a certian temperture and beyond I suppose. GaAs stays much cooler then Si with load.

So we can have both faster and more efficiency( much less power usage) Or cheaper and faster with decrease in size which is what it's all about.

I like the fact that it has become clear that 100nm was a response to a suitor
