Terafly, I don't suggest this, I just don't rule it out. Projects don't always comply with project plans. But I doubt I'd rely on that speculation myself.

Anyway, accomplishing a milestone and issuing a news release do not necessarily happen on the same day. Consider this scenario:

Sep 30th: POET reaches milestone (i.e. on schedule).
Oct 1st: Weak hands who expected something in September throw their shares at the market.
POET issues news release.

I don't suggest this will happen. I don't wish this to happen. I simply don't rule out this could happen. If (and only if) this happens, the share price will draw some interesting lines on the chart.
