POET needs validation more than anything. The nice thing is that there seems to be an invisible partition between the military side and the commercial opportunities. But I can't imagine that it would make a lick of difference to any potential investor. They could make some concessions for BAE in order to get credibility in the market and in the inevitable auction with commercial partners.

If POET could license with BAE we would have proof that the technology is being taken seriously. I think then the sky's the limit on the commercial end (and the SP).
