Unfortunately the article didn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling like the news release did last Friday or the announcement of the laser last December or reading the Byron King article. After the news came out last Friday I was almost sure that was going to lead us into the 60s this week.

"as it conducts a review over the next three to four months."

They are still reviewing? What have they been doing for the first 8 months of this year?

“I wouldn’t call it a crossroads. I would call it a pause to decide how we’re going to make money,"
These statements made me cringe especially the word "pause". Why put this in the article? Doesn't make anyone happy reading it knowing how the last year has felt like a big "pause" when it comes to share price appreciation and this indicates they still don't have a direction. ARGGGH.

The committee will decide whether to sell or license the technology in the military and commercial sectors
Seriously, they still haven't decided? I thought they were semiconductor experts. The rest of the industry is not sitting still while you think about it for months.

"the committee will push back the date of the full optoelectronic integration on a single die, a major milestone, until next year’s second quarter"

Another positive to throw into the article. Why say this at all? We've already had enough delays, we don't need it thrown in our faces once more.

"sees a deal coming through before it needs to go back to the market. "
well yeah... we are expecting one soon, not mid next year when they might need more money. If they are licensing, no reason not to have multiple smaller deals in place by then. Maybe again the expectations set here have been that it will be soon, but for management that might not have ever been their expectation.

Reading this article reminds me how dangerous reading this board is as it fills your head with unrealistic fluff.
