I've read that blackouts are a matter of corporate governance and there's nothing illegal about selling shares as an insider, especially if the insider information you have which necessitates a blackout is going to raise the SP. Although you still run the risk of having Mark kick the crap out of you if you do it.

I have it on pretty solid authority that the blackout is still in effect, whether Lee P is abiding by it is another story...

Another thing to consider is that there are other insiders who also do not have to follow the blackout, such as Sheldon and probably family members of company employees - although I'm not 100% certain about that one. For example, a guy like Dale Lafrance who is listed as an insider and owns common shares might be able to do what he wants with the shares.
