Message: Articles about POET TECHNOLOGIES INC.

So I just noticed, you guys in Canada have a long weekend :) so Happy Long Weekend! cheers!

I have been reading and going over a bunch of articles and been reading http://www.pcworld.com/article/2033671/breaking-moores-law-how-chipmakers-are-pushing-pcs-to-blistering-new-levels.html

"It's scalable, and it's bolt-on to CMOS," says executive director Peter Copetti. "That's very important. In our discussions with different foundries and semiconductor companies, the first thing they ask is 'Do I have to retool my facilities?' The investment here is minimal because our system is complementary to what's out there right now." OPEL also says its wafers are reusable

The way I understand, POET had already talked to semiconductor companies and foundries and still is talking. But what stands out is the question by companies and foundries, the first question they ask (Do I have to retool my facilities?') , Peter said it, read it :) My question is, which companies and which foundries did POET talked to already?

The best thing is an answer to the above questions. Companies and foundries do not have to retool their factories or build new ones, savings galore! Well they do have to retool it somewhat, but with a minimal investment, no biggie. It might cost few millions to retool the existing facilities to be able to produce POET on commercial scale, but it's not even a 1% of the profits the companies and foundries will reap from this technology for years and dacades to come.

Enjoy your long weekend, enjoy the summer, spend time with family and friends, market is slow now, people are on vacation, September comes (only 3 weeks away) and we shall see more news, more pr, MS7 (end of Q3) and with all this higher sp.

cheers
