Anyone who thinks POET Inc. or IBK are controlling the SP for a low ball buyout is not thinking correctly.

The POET BoD, SSC and advisors to the SSC etc are getting paid peanuts; their fiscal reward primarily comes in the form of OPTIONS which means the objective is maximise shareholder value.

It is possible though when volumes are low that investors can sell small volumes to pull the price down a little to then scoop up a greater amount of stock at the depressed price; this is a common practice. This practice is not illegal although long investors certainly do not appreciate the practice; it is just part of the trading world.

It is very likely that soon the volumes will increase significantly due to future MS NR's, the SSC's and Atomics work, and more importantly the first real signs of monetization coming to effect.

When the volumes do spike, the ability for the SP to be manipulated (kept artificially low) as descibed above becomes much more difficult / unlikely because the demand will be far greater than the supply .... and that's what drives the SP up.

All we need is to be patient.

POET is largely unknown, but that is about to change, and when it does this will lite up like a Christmas Tree.
