Below is Mr. Chu's response. I thanked him for his timely followthrough. I also called Schwab about trading through their international desk - and I apparently misunderstood last time that I could convert my OPELF to OPL.v. While they will buy foreign stocks through freign exchanges - unless I have an account in a foreign brokerage - all US held shares would be treated the same (i.e. requiring exchange through the DTC or some other clearing house). I will take them (OPEL) at their word.
