12:28 PM EST, 12/16/2019 (MT Newswires) -- Osisko Mining (OSK.TO) was up more than 3% after the company on Monday said a drilling program at its Windfall gold project in northern Quebec showed very high gold mineralization.
The company said best results from the resource definition and expansion drilling program at the Lynx deposit included 1,475 grams per tonne of gold over 4.6 meters of core, the best result yet seen from the site, and 23.4 gpt of gold and 21.8 gpt of silver over 16.1 meters.
"Our exploration team is excited by the continuing potential of what we feel is an emerging world-class high-grade gold deposit," chief executive John Burzynski said in a release.
Osisko Mining shares were last seen up C$0.11 to C$3.60 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
