Osisko Mining Says Drilling At Windfall Project Secondary Site Intersects Significant Gold Deposits
04:21 PM EST, 11/28/2017 (MT Newswires) -- Osisko Mining (OSK.TO) said after market close on Tuesday that exploratory drilling at its Windfall Lake gold project in northern Quebec intersected significant gold-bearing ore at the site's secondary Lynx deposit.
Cores from the Lynx deposit include a two-meter stretch bearing 479 grams of gold per tonne, with other intersects showed 27.4 grams per tonne.
The Lynx deposit lies immediately northeast of the main Windfall Lake deposit, which has an indicated gold resource of 748,000 ounces.
Osisko shares rose $0.12, or 3.3%, to $3.75 Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The shares have traded between $2.08 and $5.65 over the past 12 months.
