Low-ball bids and management alignment with common shareholders...

I no longer hold OSK , having taken a significant loss after purchasing most of my shares in the $12 range and unloading them at ~$8.( Had been waiting for the POG to be firmly established above $1250 before considerng buying back in ). Nevertheless, if I was still holding I would be pissed beyond belief if management accepted this abysmally low offer. I would also be pissed if I happened to hold other junior gold producers/pre-production stage juniors (which I do) , as such a low offer would be setting a precedent for other predatory bids.

After most stocks have been pummelled 60 to 80%, one needs to see a premium of anywhere from 250% to 500% to just break even- a 40% premium will not do, let alone a measly 15%.!

One question I have, do current OSK directors have significant amounts of options whose "strike price" are significantly below the proposed buyout stock price? What happens under these circumstances if they in fact do? Does this then align those directors with the common shareholder, or are those directors cut a sweet deal by the takeover company to vote in favour of a low-bid takeover offer? Or does management of OSK re-price their options lower to ensure their own golden parachutes , with total disregard for the plight of the other shareholders.

Any comments or insight greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Luker
