Osisko's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 29, 2009) - Osisko Mining Corporation ("Osisko") (TSX:OSK) (FRANKFURT:EWX) is pleased to announce that its board of directors adopted a resolution fixing the close of business on Thursday April 30th, 2009, as the record date for the purpose of determining shareholders entitled to receive notice of its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.

The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Osisko will be held at the Hilton Bonaventure in Montreal on Tuesday June 30th, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. (local time).

Osisko Mining Corporation is currently developing the Canadian Malartic gold deposit and adjacent mineralized zones into a large-scale open pit, bulk-tonnage mining operation. Osisko is well-funded and is carrying out an aggressive definition drilling, exploration and development campaign.
