So someone is still alive there. It would be interesting to know what they think of their stock price or whether that is important to them.
I invested in a penny one time, and as I often to, I called to talk with them. In one conversation I said 'You sound confident.' His response was, 'We don't sound confident, we are confident'.
In a second conversation, he offered that the stock price was important to the company and the implication was they were concerned about their shareholders.
I bought the stock at 1.50 and it went as high as $26.00. (Wish I had their confidence and rode it at least half way!)
I don't know if there is any relationship between the above two pieces of information and the success of the company, but I always thought there was. They had a clear purpose, exceeding confidence and a concern for their shareholders. I've always thought these went together.
Our guys may be confident, but it isn't being broadcast. And I'm afraid they are not concerned about their shareholders. That doesn't mean they won't succeed, but success seems to be connected to caring about what you're doing, including those supporting you. I don't see that here.
