Great angle Syd!! They do have a patent on the process. Each component is nothing new to the market but how they are arranged is new and if this is proven successful-which seems to be the case as they have produced already, the savings are substantial and OPTI could very well receive generous compensation to license their technology to other oil sand plays. However, I believe they will be bought out before this happens. News from POST suggest new CEO is there to help sell company. Any potential suitor will have to value that patent in the deal and this could add to the buyout price!!
