That type of action is usually but not always a bad thing. Certainly hurts those people who have been in this for years and years. For those of us with a purchase price below .30 it can make the company more attractive to institutional investors.

Many major funds have bylaws precluding them from purchasing equities trading below 2.00. A 10 to 1 consolidation would give a current share price of 2.70 and meet that requirement. Issues trading in that range also have greater credibility when being considered by the boards of prospective partner companies.

Even the prospect of such action will no doubt trigger a firestorm as I understand happened at the AGM. My understanding also was that the directors did not announce immediate plans for any such action but also did not discount the possibility.

When it comes to these matters we retail investors are just "along for the ride".
