Even though the dollar is up this morning gold continues to rise.

The HUI is up the spot gold price is up and futures are up.

The Barrick CEO on TV this morning said Gold is no longer just a dollar play.

Emerging markets central banks are buying gold and maybe even China will be buying it. ETF's are also buying. All of this is pressuring supplys as is the power shortage in South Affrica.
