wish I knew who or why this is being done, but with all the shares trading hands in the last few days I have to guess someone is loading up big time... this is not just retail buying and selling... at least that is my opinion for what its worth... we never know for sure what is driving the SP... we know that people with money influence markets in whatever direction they want.... and the number of shares traded on the TSX is not the true volume... sometimes there are big volumes traded on Alpha, the exchange the banks own themselves.... check it out at alphatradingsystems.ca .. sometimes quite different bid/ask there ....
