Tonight is a Blue Moon (once every 19 years on New Year's) and there is an eclipse tonight. In Norcal we will not be able to see these wonderful things, but maybe other parts of the US and Canada will.

On NYSE - NAK sp making a comeback after sell-off of a couple of days ago. Volume only about 88k at this time. Daily technicals looking like they are peaking, but OBV is very supportive. 15min going Bullish and 60min Bullish. Decent way to end the year.

S&P down about half a percent. Yesterday's volume was about one-eighth of normal, so expect today to be no better in volume. NatGassers down, Oils generally up, Gold Miners up, Restaurants Down, Technology generally Up, Retail Down, Ocean Shuppers Down, RecessProofers Down. Might find lots of opportunity out there, but be careful and please stay Diversified.

Gold boosted overnight to above $1105, came back down and at $1095'ish at this time, but trying to move up for a decent NYMEX close.
