Hello,
I have been tracking NAI since the Voisy's Bay days and it looks as though they have finally latched onto two very good promising prospects in Viking and Taylor Brook. they are just getting started on these and the area was not looked at very closely untill the mid to late 1990's as the focus in Newfoundland was mostly in the Baie Verte peninsula and Buchans areas. Even then it was like a first pass over the area for finding future references. Thus, the potential is still much unknown and will likely be further maped and surface sampled next summer in hopes to then plan for a follow up drill program. Due to snow conditions in the area over Dec. - March, it is unlikely the early phase work will continue through the winter. However, if next April-June shows good enough then it could mean a winter drill program as drilling can be accomplished in the snowy conditions with little hinderence other than the occasional storm (4-5 over the Dec. - March period).
Otherwise the results to date are very promising. I am not familiar as to what else they may be doing outside this area currently and will be digging into this some more over the coming months. If Celtic or Donner or any of the others in the greater Voisy's Bay area come up with good results later this fall and or next spring then they could conceivably restart their exploration program up there somewhat quickly. In the mean time I will get a little more research completed.
If anyone can provide info on other projects and prospects NAI has, it will be much appreciated.
Old Joe
