A similar story to Noront... Augusta Resources....

You might want to learn a bit of the game played in mining by seeing whay Gil Claussen has done with Augusta Resources. This stock has done much the same as Noront. They proved up some great tonnage of copper and some silver to boot. Not unlike out proving up of chromite and some nickel and other various minerals.

What did Gil do. He sold off the silver portion of the mine. All of it. Who to? Silver Wheaton for about a 1/2 billion. That is financing the mine which is to be operational in a couple of years. What are they specializing in? Copper.

The price of Augusta bounced around between 1 and 3 dollars for a number of years after the initial find. This was a mine already mined previously, but with the new technology they have uncovered a great mine.

We have the same story here. Augusta hit 7.00 just before the market meltdown. Today it hit 1.50. Its worth 7.00 just like we probably are. It's all about market exposure and demand. This market is hurting everyone. Don't let it get you down.

If you want to check out the history of Augusta and its stock price fluctuations you'll see the similarities. Just click the link below:

One other thing. My main point in this blurb is we should likely be considering selling off Windfall to a gold company and using the money to drive us the rest of the way to operation as a mine. I'm not sure our purpose under Richard was the same as Augusta's under Gil. I'm not sure we were planning on developing the mine as Augusta was. In either case I think we may well be going it on our own with the help of some major. I can't see a major not being part of this story. The question is how much of the pie will the major get. $500,000 dollars for "all" of the silver in Augusta's Rosemount mine could be quite a sell-off for cash up front. I always hope both sides win in situations like that. If Noront gets into a deal with say Barrick for Windfall I would want everyone to feel good about how things turn out. Of course we always want us to do well no matter what else happens.

Enough blog. Just some thoughts moving forward. Augusta has been well run...just as Noront has. I really hope this vote proves us up and Richard and his board overcome this hostile bid.

Good luck all,

Mustangman
