I realize no one wants the forum to disintegrate into complete chaos, but events outside the JBL will, and will continue to have an effect DIRECTLY on the SP of Noront.

There has to be some give and take with this issue: the thing about Agoracom is that it is self-policing: if no one reports a slightly OT post,I don't see Noront IR in an uproar because their forum is not being used 100% for Noront discussion.

And what constitutes OT? I see an awful lot of Kitco quotes, "numbers" posts, etc etc. What about the price of nickel? Is that off-topic as it doesn't quote Noront press release chapter and verse?

Oh, and don't get me started about other co's in the RoF, like FNC and PRB etc. That it gets snuck into a Noront post and is deemed acceptable really bugs me. Until those companies sign up with Noront in a J/V, then I think they should be verboten topics for the bought-and-paid for Noront board, as it has been pointed out.

I want consistency, and if one person is going to lay down the law, then that person had better follow it to the letter, or ease up on the rest of us.

Not going to win me any friends today, I'm sure, but that's how I feel.
