You've asked for it, you've been waiting for it and now, here it is !!!! (crowd cheers)

It's the very first "Let's NOT Golf" Tournament !

Everyone is welcome, if you can get to the greater Toronto area and if you've played the game before. And you'll need a set of golf clubs too. :-) I would also like to extend this invitation to George & staff at Agora and RN & staff, at NOT.

The format will be a 4, 3 or 2 person scramble format. The number on each team will depend on the number of entrants. I figure that we could do a minimum of five 3-person teams or five 4-person teams. Hopefully many more than that.

In this format, each team will have at least one good player and every team wiill have a chance to win.

As such, I am asking everyone to give me an honest estimate on what scores they shoot, or how they hit the ball, or if you're a great putter, but maybe not as good on the course, then let me know. The more that you tell me about your game, the better I will be able to match up the teams, so that they are competitive with each other.

We can arrange a meal, with the golf and some prizes and we'll have to get a Let's NOT Golf-Trophy, made of....nickel ? chrome ? And we could hold the tournament on or around the date of the news of Eagle One (late August/early Sept.). Or earlier, if you like.

The course will depend on the number & level of the players. The costs could be anywhere from $100 to $200 per person, depending on what we want.
