The world produces about 86 million bls/ day North America Canada/ Us consume about 28 million... That leaves 58 million for the rest of the world..... I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for other counties to cut back production to feed our hummers etc used to drive from suburb across the city.

We need to wake up and smell the coffee..... If opec had more oil in reserve they would just open up the tap and fload the price down... instead they back up the US retoric about looking for some seculator who is driving it up.

I don't know about you, but I have backed off investing in jr oil stocks.... Tooooo many dry or low producing holes... What is that telling ya... get used to it... production is only keeping pace with consuption.... soon it will be not how much you paid, but if you can get it.

Hubbards bell curve appies to all worldwide production as well.... The more remote and risky countries are on the exploration list now... why is that.... Because we are at or near production capability .

Thgink about this.... The car was only invented 100 years ago.... and the interstate road network only becamer a reality over the past 60 years... Consuption has risen in an increasing amount throughout that time....

A few things to think about.

Have we consumed 50% of the worlds oil in only 100 years?

How long will the balance last? Do we have another 50.... or 100 years... no mater what that isn't a very long time.

If the production cannot keep up with demand, who will go without?

Who is best prepared for reduced oil availability and able to withstand higher oil prices?

Will oil react like rice recently....? Will some countries curtail exports in order to provide fuel at home?

Will some countries begin hoarding oil?

Do you think there is some milti billion bl pool we haven't found.

Simple math.... the world consumes a billion bls every 12 days... do the math!
