How to read many posts effectively

posted on Apr 05, 2008 11:13AM

The Noront Resources hub has many investors who actively post. Many posts are good; many, not so good. Perhaps 50%. In fact, some are also hurtful. All of us are humans. Some seem more so.

How can you read them effectively? Here are some points to consider.

1) You DON'T need to read all of the posts.

2) Consider reading the posts with MANY HANDS.

3) Identify those who are the favorites and add value to the hub: e.g., D12, Milsy1, QQ_Girl, and others.

4) Identify those who are COMBATIVE. Unless you like hurtful comments, you might consider giving their posts a pass.

5) For primary posts (no RE:), look for HANDS. You can filter this way.

6) For RE: posts, consider choosing only those posts with numerous hands. This can save time.

7) Don't forget the IGNORE button if you find a certain poster to be really obnoxious. I don't use it, because I use the first 6 ideas.

Just some ideas.
