If you do the math, 81M shares voted to stay, representing 14.4%, work that backwards, there's 567M shares outstanding, meaning 485M shares either voted to sell or didn't vote at all.
I'd like to know of that other 485M shares, how that breaks down. Most importantly, how many didn't vote at all. If a huge percentage voted to sell, then it's a done deal, but if the other 85% of the shareholders didn't vote at all, then how can a judge agree to this squeeze out and approve the sale of the company to Wyloo if a large majority were not heard from in this vote. These stats need to be known and communicated.
The communication on this was terrible, the timing was so tight, the instructions came out late, it was generally very confusing.
I find it really hard to believe that so many shareholders would agree to take $1.10 at this juncture, when this project has been alive for so many years, the EV market is on a cusp to explode, battery factories are being announced by our government, our provincial government is behind htis sector. And so now, shareholders will take $1.10?? Really??
