Alan Coutts, P.Geo
Alan Coutts is President and CEO of Noront Resources. His background includes more than 30 years of domestic and international mining experience across a range of commodities. Before joining Noront, Alan was Managing Director for Australasia with Xstrata Nickel based in Perth, Australia, and prior to that he was General Manager at Noranda's Brunswick Mine in Canada. Alan also served in a variety of roles at Falconbridge, including General Manager, Chief Geologist and Regional Exploration Manager. He is a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo) with an Honours degree in Geology.
