How much value did Eagle's Nest gain overnight? ....& How much more will it gain in the near to distant future?....Will it's value be based on it's worth alone, or in what it means to Canada's recovery from Covidand the decarbonation of the planet in the fight to combat climate change? The answer IMO is YES....YES to both. The impetus has come, although under the most unfortunate circumstances, to move the Ring of Fire forward. Russia has now given the free world a good reason to stop procrastinating on green energy projects and instead forced a lot of countries to not only find a Plan B, but to also expedite many projects that were thought to be years away. (ex. Ring of Fire)
Folks....Both theĀ global play books and rule books are being rewritten. For Canada this means we have to stop all of our infighting with our First Nations, because if we continue it will only be to the undoing of us all. The time has come for many countries, like Canada, to look at their own situations and address them correctly without hesitation. If our country seriously wants to survive it will have to figure out a better way to partner with First Nations to allow resource development. Whether that be with select communities or vastly effected groups. This is one play book and rule book that has to be rewritten.
In our case with Noront and the Ring of Fire the story has changed for the better. There is even more reason to move not only the project forward, but to also advance our relationship with our First Nations; Matawa and Mushkegowuk. If we fail to do this in collaboration with Wyloo/Forrest than North America will suffer a much longer road to recovery, and so too will our attempt to fight climate change and finally achieve reconciliation with our First Nations.
I believe with Andrew Forrest's help Canada will NOT hesitate this time...Fingers crossed.
