5 minutes is not enough....However...Over 10 plus years is. In that light I would have to say both our various level of the Canadian Government...and yes...our First Nations have dropped the ball. No offense, but from where I stand your both lazy....Blah, blah, blah, blah.... Hash out the differences and get to work....Whatever it takes.....Shares in the company, a place on the board, a seat at the table, and a detailed account of minute by minute of what is going on on all levels.....Economics, mining, benefits, taxation, environmental monitoring....The whole shabang..No secrets.

The Ring of Fire did not just happen yesterday. Whatever bad history there is you cannot relive the pain of the past. This is not healthy. The only way forward is with First Nations as full and equal partners in this...But here is the fine print... and the truth. Not all First Nations will be happy with who gets what, or who controls what. That is just the way it goes. There must be a line drawn like with other jurisdicitons and their own resource projects. Many First Nations have very successful resource benefit agreements with mining companies, and now, unlike the years gone by, mining companies must jump through numerous time consuming hurdles to open their mines. Monitoring those mines and mitigating the affects on the environment, the animals, and yes....the humans is critically important. 

Everyone needs to be included...and that means everyone. First Nations or not. Many are not the enemy of the First Nations and just because we all want to get ahead does not make us bad people. Let hammer more that just the Ring of Fire out...This whole us and them story is getting really me down. Quit it. Sit down with the government and get your rightfully entitled to.
