HPAL is a dirty and energy intensive process. Massive tailings dams, especially large ones, are always worrisome. Tesla would do far better dealing with nickel sulphides in Canada or Australia, than laterites in paradise; New Caledonia. Who knows....Forrest, being a well respected businessman, may have already sat down with Elon to discuss Noront's potential. After all, if Talon can secure a contract without production capacity till 2025 and beyond than perhaps the Ring is also in Teslas sights. Similar to New Caledonia it too offers Elon an unlimited nickel resource.
